The disk tool is used to draw filled ovals or circles. To create disks, position the pointer on the painting Canvas, press the mouse button and drag the mouse while holding the button down.
In 3D mode, the disk makes a three dimensional sphere shaded between the tool color and the 3D color. The Illumination command on the Options menu lets you click the mouse to determine the direction of shading on all subsequent 3D spheres. The part of the sphere that is the tool color is always facing the light source.
